Who operates this website

Operon Systems LLC, doing business as Operon Group (“Operon,” “we,” or “us”), operates this website and is responsible for the information described here. This notice covers the public website and related inquiry correspondence. Separate products, client engagements, and portfolio businesses may have their own notices and agreements.

Information we collect and why

When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, message, selected inquiry topic, and information you choose to include in subsequent correspondence. We use this information to acknowledge and answer inquiries, evaluate potential engagements, maintain related business records, and address privacy, accessibility, security, and rights requests.

Hosting and email providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and request details, timestamps, delivery status, and errors to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and email service. The form uses a submission identifier to reduce duplicate deliveries, and keyed email identifiers and shared counters to limit repeated submissions. Vercel BotID checks browser signals to help identify automated form submissions. Hashing does not guarantee anonymity.

The website does not offer account registration, payments, file uploads, or newsletter subscriptions. Do not submit passwords, payment details, government identification numbers, patient records, health information, or confidential third-party materials through the public form.

Inquiries and acknowledgment emails

Resend processes your name, email address, and message to deliver your inquiry to Operon’s business inbox. A separate acknowledgment goes to the address you provide; replies go to Operon. These messages relate to your inquiry. Submitting the form does not enroll you in a marketing mailing list.

The website does not store inquiry messages in an application database. Copies can remain in our business mailbox, correspondence, email delivery records, and provider backups. An on-screen success message indicates acceptance for delivery, not guaranteed inbox receipt.

Cookies, analytics, and browser signals

When enabled, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits, referring sites, device categories, and contact-form usage. Our custom events record that a form was started, accepted for delivery, or failed, or that an email address was copied, with an optional public service or company topic. A worksheet download event records only the public resource identifier. Names, email addresses, message text, worksheet selections, and working notes are not included in analytics events. We remove URL query strings and fragments from analytics page URLs. Vercel Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies. Infrastructure providers may process request data and use necessary security technologies to deliver and protect the service.

We do not sell information collected through this website or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and do not use it for targeted advertising or automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. We stop sending website analytics events when your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Necessary security and email processing continue. This does not limit any applicable opt-out right.

Planning worksheets

Checklist selections and working notes remain in the current browser page. They are not submitted to Operon or saved in an application database. You can download a text copy or print the worksheet; refreshing or leaving the page clears the working entries. Downloaded and printed copies remain under your control.

Who receives information

Information is available to people authorized to handle inquiries for Operon and providers supporting hosting, email delivery, mailbox storage, and security. Vercel hosts the website and provides analytics and abuse protection; Resend delivers form emails. Provider privacy notices do not replace our responsibilities for information we control.

We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, obtain professional advice, investigate abuse, protect rights and safety, or support a business reorganization or transfer, subject to applicable privacy requirements. We may also disclose information at your direction.

A portfolio listing does not automatically authorize sharing your inquiry with that business. External websites, including LinkedIn and portfolio companies, operate under their own policies. Operon does not directly provide healthcare consulting. Specialized services offered by other businesses are governed by those businesses’ arrangements.

Retention and international processing

Retention depends on the purpose and status of an inquiry, ongoing correspondence, applicable recordkeeping duties, security needs, and any dispute or preservation requirement. Provider logs and backups follow their applicable retention processes. Deletion requests may be subject to lawful exceptions and backup deletion cycles; we do not promise immediate removal from every system.

Operon and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries where providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, that transfer must meet those requirements. Visiting this website does not waive your rights.

Your choices and privacy requests

Request access, correction, or deletion by emailing jweber@theoperongroup.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, or use our contact form. Provide only what is needed to locate the correspondence. We may request proportionate verification of identity or an authorized agent’s authority before disclosing or changing records.

Depending on your location and the law’s applicability, you may also have rights to a portable copy, information about disclosures, restriction of or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it, and an appeal of a denied request. To appeal, reply to our decision or email the same address with “Privacy appeal.” We respond within applicable legal deadlines, explain applicable exceptions, and do not unlawfully discriminate for exercising rights. You may complain to your applicable privacy regulator or attorney general.

Where European or UK data protection law applies, the relevant basis may be requested steps before a contract, legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and securing the website, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

Children and sensitive information

This business website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it. Do not submit another person’s information without authorization.

Security and changes

No website, email service, or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Our Security page explains how to report concerns and arrange appropriate handling of project materials.

We publish revisions here and update the date above. If a material change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it. This notice does not override a separate agreement or non-waivable privacy right.
